Travel Escapes Team

After being a stay-at-home mom for years, I decided to re-enter the work force in 1996.   Although my degree is in education, I was ready to branch out and discover my “passion”!  As a result, I registered for a course at the former Ambassador Travel School and studied for three months learning the complicated methods of selling travel before the advent of the Internet.  I graduated #1 in my class!!  My experience since then has been with Corporate Airlines and Premier Travel, before opening Travel Escapes Inc in January 2008.   It has been extremely rewarding for me over the years to have played a part in making dreams come true for my clients.   In order to increase my value to you, I attend seminars and take courses online, develop personal relationships with others in the travel industry, and take advantage of every opportunity possible to tour new destinations and resorts.  If I have not been there, I usually know someone whom I trust who HAS been there…..nothing is better than a personal recommendation!!

Thank you for making it possible for me to continue a profession that I am passionate about.  I look forward to working with you on your next trip!  You may contact me at

Hello, I’m Tina and am a native Nashvillian.  I graduated with a marketing degree from Tennessee Tech University.  I am married to Rick, and we have two daughters, both MTSU graduates–Go Blue Raiders!  I have been working with Brenda for about 14 years now and before that enjoyed planning trips informally for my family and friends.

My father passed on to me a love of the beach, and I consider Florida and the Caribbean my particular specialties—each island has its own unique personality and I enjoy sharing my love of the islands and cultures of the Caribbean with my clients.  However, I really caught “travel fever” on a five-week trip to Europe with a student group when I was 18 years old, visiting 10 different countries.  I also consider cruising a fun way to travel—what better way to see many different places and only unpack once?—and had my children on a cruise ship at a very young age!  It’s also a great way to see which places you want to go back to visit more in-depth on a longer stay. I am always looking for ways to further my knowledge of destinations through seminars, workshops, and courses to better serve my clients, as well as through site inspections and trips to familiarize myself with destinations, resorts, and cruise ships.  I would love to help you plan your ideal getaway and help you make memories to last a lifetime!  You may contact me at

JEAN KEITH JeanKeithAthens

Hi, I am Jean and I hail from the Midwest—I grew up in the St. Louis area and lived in Chicago and W. Des Moines, Iowa, but have been in Franklin for 28 years!  My husband and I both graduated from the University of Missouri and have two grown children.

This summer I celebrated my 40th year of international travel.  I was lucky enough to go to Europe in ‘69 on a whirlwind three-week trip, visiting nine countries, and I saw so much my head was spinning but my heart was captured!  Since then I have traveled back there five times and have expanded to four continents!

I would be the queen of cruising in our group with over 40 cruises on six different lines and I would have to say, this is my favorite way to travel.  Chances are, if you have questions about a particular ship or cruise line, I will be able to answer them for you!

What would be the greatest experience out of all this?  Whatever I am seeing or doing at the time—the green, green hills of Ireland; red, hot lava making the newest land on earth in Hawaii; swimming with dolphins in Mexico; hearing the call to prayer in Istanbul; sailing in a small boat and having a mother whale and her baby come up next to you and “blow”; warm pastries in France or chocolates in Switzerland; and nothing can beat the sunsets in the Caribbean islands!  I could go on and on!

Do you have a dream?  Let me help you make it a reality!  You may contact me at

KimHi!  I’m Kim Eldridge, and I have been with Travel Escapes since 2008.  I am originally from Memphis, attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and moved to Nashville in 1987.  I have travelled all over the world—Paris, Aruba, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, all over the Caribbean and have taken at least 10 cruises on 10 different ships.  I loved the Windstar cruise the most–be sure to ask me about it!  It’s definitely not your average cruise!  I have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of travel.  I get so excited when I book a trip and enjoy hearing all about my clients’ adventures and experiences when they return.

I love the outdoors and anything to do with water, whether it’s cruising, or sunsets on the ocean or the lake!!  I love to travel and experience new exciting locations for my clients to enjoy.  I book travel for groups as well as individuals.  Let me plan your next vacation!!   You may contact me at

DanaGoodwinHello Fellow Travelers!!  My name is Dana Goodwin. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia but have been in the Nashville/Franklin area for the last 34 years.  For the past 10 years, I have planned corporate travel while working for the managing partners of a large CPA firm, but decided to leave the corporate world to plan travel for my friends and family.  I have been the main vacation planner for my own family, children, and grandchildren for many years.  I am in the process of training with Brenda and her team to learn the ins and outs of making everyone’s vacation the best it can be.  I am looking forward to enjoying this time of training and travel.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy traveling and have visited many places over the last 20 or so years.  One of our all-time favorites was Italy – but we also love the Caribbean and learning other cultures and experiencing the cuisine and lifestyles of many countries in Europe.  Our travel bug started when we were in the Navy and I was working for Delta Airlines which allowed us to visit many places throughout the world.  We have traveled to Mexico, St. Martin, the Cayman Islands, Europe, and many places within the United States. Most recently, we took the whole family for a New Year’s 2010 celebration at Disneyworld !!

I am looking forward to joining the Travel Escapes Team, and cannot wait to help you plan your honeymoon, vacation, or family reunion.  Please contact me at or at 615-794-6426.  Bon Voyage!
